Jimmy was known for his brainy wit, his infectious humor, and his generous heart. He was a beacon of light in the lives of all who were fortunate enough to have known him. His legacy of compassion and kindness, instilled especially in his children, serves as a testament to his incredible character.
One of Jimmy's greatest accomplishments, and a source of immense pride, was his children. His belief that the greatest gift one can give the world is raising loving and devoted children to keep his legacy alive in his passing. His memory will be cherished in the generations to come.
He is survived by his beloved daughters, Destiny Platt (Nicholas), Emilee Littleton; his stepson, Josh Davis; his grandson, Colson Platt, as well as many more loved family and friends. He was predeceased by his wife of many years, Peggy Littleton, whom he wedded in 1991, and his parents, Charles and Ruby Littleton. His brothers, Johnny and Frank Littleton, also preceded him in passing.
Jimmy was a dedicated serviceman who proudly served our nation. He retired from the United States Navy in 1957, and subsequently from the United States Army in 1962. His commitment to his country inspired respect and admiration from those who knew him.
In his final days, with his daughter Destiny at his bedside, Jimmy found peace by giving himself fully to God. With humility and faith, he placed his trust in the Lord and faced the end of his earthly journey comforted by that devotion. As we say goodbye, we celebrate his life, his contributions, and the love he so generously shared with us all.
A graveside memorial service to honor Jimmy's life will be at 11am on February 7th 2026, at Ada Valley cemetery in Adona, Arkansas.
