Jimmy's obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the  passing of Jimmy Grunewald on May 12, 2024. Born on July 28, 1946, Jimmy lived a fulfilling life filled with love, laughter, and countless memories. He is survived by his loving wife, four children, nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Jimmy was a man of strong character, stern and serious, yet known for his unwavering loyalty and helpful nature. He had a heart that cared deeply for those around him, always ready to lend a helping hand to his fellow man. These traits were the cornerstone of his life's lessons, creating a legacy that those who knew him will always remember.

He found solace in spending quality time with his family, fishing on the river, riding motorcycles with his sons, tinkering with old cars, and watching old Westerns starring Clint Eastwood - the simpler pleasures of life that brought him immense joy.

Jimmy will be deeply missed but his memory will live on in the hearts and minds of his loved ones. His teachings and the warmth of his caring personality will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known him. As we now bid him farewell, we do so with gratitude for his presence in our lives and the positive impact he made.
