I’m am only now seeing that yesterday, January 14, 2024 would have been Jimmie’s/Butch’s 70th birthday.  I never knew that our birthdays were separated by only a day!  I am sure yesterday was a very poignant day for Sherri and all his family and friends.  Love to you all as you reflect on his life and remember all the good moments you shared with dear Jimmie/Butch! ♥️♥️♥️ While writing this message, I am smiling because of the tremendous conflict I had regarding his name!  When my husband John and I first met him, he introduced himself as “Butch”.  But once Sherri and I became friends she referred to him as “Jimmie”.  She would say his name is Jimmie and then as soon as he got a chance, he’d tell me “You call me Butch!”  Haha….and as it turned out, Sherri explained to me the conflict she had was because the first time she met him, he had introduced himself to her as “Jimmie!”  I always get a little laugh out of that.  I should have just called him JB or BJ!  Much love to all of you who are experiencing the void you feel.♥️
