Jim's obituary

Jimmie Lane Tolson Jr (Jim) 75 years old of Cleveland, Oklahoma passed away on Monday, November 27th 2023. Jim was born on March 16th 1948 in Oklahoma City to Jimmie Lane & Shirley Mae Tolson, he graduated from Tulsa, OK's Hale high school in 1966. He served our country in the Army National Guard. He was the founder of Performance Engineering in addition to multiple successful careers. Jim married the love of his life Janie Lavon Fanning March 21st 1992 in Bixby Oklahoma. He loved hot rods, street rods, and actually most cars altogether. He especially loved his first car a 1957 Chevy, and also hated Janie's 1978 Ford Fairmont station wagon. He once said "You could roll that car three times in an intersection and no one would even notice." Jim is survived by his wife. Janie Tolson. his 4 children, Julie Alumbaugh of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Laura Buie and her husband James of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, Michael Anthamatten and his wife Lesley of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, and Katie Dalrymple of Tulsa Oklahoma. 

He had 10 grandchildren that he loved very much. James Buie, Bonnie Buie, Miles Tolson, Emma Tolson, Michael Anthamatten, Caydence Rodgers, Austin Rodgers, Amelia (Millie) Anthamatten, Chevy Anthamatten, & Liam Dalrymple. 

Jim is predeceased by his first wife. Linda Jean Jones of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and by his parents, Jimmy Lane Tolson Sr. and Shirley Mae Tolson of Cleveland, OK 

Memorial services will be 2 PM Thursday, November 30th 2023 at Sapulpa Bible Church, 1119 Brenner Road Sapulpa, Oklahoma. A family meal will be served before the service at 12:30.
