Jimmie's obituary
Jimmie "Big Jim" Teter, Sr, 79, of Inwood, WV, passed away on January 22, 2022 after a battle with a rare skin cancer.
Jimmie was born on December 20th of 1942 to Gerald and Bessie Teter in Baltimore, MD.
In 1964 he met and married Dorothy, going on to have six children, Patricia, Elizabeth, Ronnie, Donald, Wanda and Jimmie Jr. and nine grandchildren and one step-grandchild, James, Bradley, Jennifer, Samantha, Erica, Janie, Tracie, Dale, Lisa, Katie and nine great-grandchildren.
Jimmie was a truck driver for over 30 years. He was a hard worker, determined to provide for his family. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world and always tried his best to support them. Jimmie was also passionate about fishing, hunting and playing guitar in which he learned to play himself. Anyone who knew Jimmie knew that he was shy and yet witty with a great sense of humor. He enjoyed making people smile and laugh.
Jimmie was predeceased by his parents, Gerald and Bessie, two brothers, Sam and Gerald and one daughter, Elizabeth. He is survived by his wife Dorothy and five children, nine grandchildren, step-grandson and nine great-grandchildren.
