Background
Jimmie Swanson spent most of his life working as a self-employed mechanic and helping others with their car needs. At the young age of 50, his career was cut short due to an unexpected diabetic coma which almost took his life. With courage and quiet dignity he continued to battle long term kidney disease and 80% loss of sight until the end of his days. Illness depleted all of his savings and any possibility of affordable life insurance. We are planning a modest but proper memorial service. Expenses will include crematory fees, a memorial service, and a grave marker. In lieu of flowers, any donation towards memorial expenses will be most appreciated. Your contribution will help to give this self-proclaimed Chevy man the most honorable send-off. Regardless of whether you can help financially, we'd also be very grateful if you share this fundraiser with others and/or post any memories of Jimmie on the website. Be blessed and thank you for your support.
