Jimmie Lee Snowden was born September 4, 1963 in Zachary, LA, to James and Gloria Snowden. Jimmie was baptized at an early age at Winding Chapel Baptist Church in Zachary, LA.

Jimmie could do it all. He had many talents and was gifted with the ability to work and fix all types things. He used his gifts to serve his family and friends throughout his life.

He was a professional truck driver, mechanic, handy man, you name it, he could do it!

Jimmie departed this life on Monday, January 6, 2020 at Baton Rouge General Medical Center Hospice in Baton Rouge, LA.

Jimmie leaves to cherish his memories: three sons, Jeremy Brown of Baton Rouge, LA, Jimmie (Kirshula) Snowden Jr. of Zachary, LA, and Jeriel Williams of Seattle, WA; one stepdaughter, Nicole (Tamekka) Grant, of Denham Springs, LA; his mother and father, James and Gloria Snowden Sr. of Zachary, LA; five sisters, Mary Lee Clark of Kempner, Texas, Gloria Allen, Linda Snowden, Margaret (James) Evans, and Ethel Felder of Zachary, LA; two brothers, James (Jennifer) Snowden Jr. and Jamie Snowden Sr. of Zachary, LA; former wife and lifelong friend, Frances Snowden, of Baton Rouge, LA; six grandchildren, Jimmie Snowden III, Kyrie Snowden of Zachary LA, JaMarcus Brown, JaCorey Brown, Diamond Brown, Jerney Brown, all of Baton Rouge, LA; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.

Jimmie was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; Caroline and Jesse Snowden, and Luna and Ethel Reed and Cornelius Mims; and niece, La’Rhonda Snowden.
