Lee Dollar, a lifelong resident of Jefferson County, Alabama, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2015, in Pleasant Grove at the age of 71.

Born in Morris, Alabama, on September 1, 1944, Lee spent his early years in the close-knit community of Morris, where her roots ran deep. Over the course of his life, she lived in several towns across Alabama—including Elkmont, Birmingham, Jasper, Athens, and Pleasant Grove—each place touched by his presence and character.
