Jimmie J. McGrew, aged 45, of Red Bluff, CA, passed away peacefully at home, being cared for by his wife Jessica who were together for 5 years, on July 30, 2024. Born on November 6, 1978, in Bellflower, CA, he was a son to Starla and the late Don McGrew.

Jimmie graduated from Summerville High School and spent many years as a dedicated large equipment operator and driver, a career that showcased his skill and work ethic. Outside of work, he was a passionate 49ers fan , he loved Jessica’s pork burritos, anything with mangos, he enjoyed playing pool, and spending time with family. His time with his loved ones brought him much joy.

Known for his loving and kind nature, Jimmie was always ready to lend a helping hand. His presence brought light and warmth to those around him.

Jimmie leaves behind his wife, Jessica, his mother, Starla, and sister Tanya. He was a cherished father to Anisa, Isaac, Ryan, and a bonus dad to Kramer, Hunter and her husband Stephen, Chandler, Brontë, Jeff,  Vello, and Mericia. His legacy also lives on through his grandchildren, Maverick, Titan, Nathan, Rosella, Zyaire, Loveah, Rosa, Junior, Mia, Joseph, Aaliyah, and Emily. Proud uncle to Brennon, Haleigh, Connor and Riley; great uncle to Reyna, and He was preceded in death by his father Don McGrew, his grandfather Jimmie Turner, his niece Haleigh Yarbrough, and other extended family members.

The family is being assisted by Adams Funeral Home in Anderson, CA. Jimmie’s life and spirit will be remembered and celebrated by all who knew him, leaving a lasting impact on many lives.
