Jimmie Dave Mahurin, 86, of Oronogo, MO passed away peacefully surrounded by family on June 12, 2018 at the Veteran's Hospital in Fayetteville, AR. Jimmie was born February 5, 1932 to Henry and Hattie (Bryant) Mahurin. He served in the Vietnam War with the Air Force, retiring after 26 years of service. On February 8, 1980, Jimmie was united in marriage to Hi Sook Chung. Jimmie leaves behind his wife, Hi Sook, children Silvana (Scott) Morss, Waltonville, IL, Geneva Mahurin, Sundown, TX, Bobby (Dawn) Mahurin, Lamar, MO, Jimmie Mahurin, Seattle, WA, stepchildren Cynthia (Cary) Stenquist, Nixa, MO, Tony (Heidi) Markham, Ogden, UT, Ava Strebel, Sunset, UT, 11 grandchildren, 10 stepgrandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 13 step great grandchildren with one on the way. Jimmie was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, 3 sisters, a step grandson, Matthew Stenquist, and a great granddaughter Irony Walters. Cremation has taken place and memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 23rd, 3 p.m. at New Grace Assembly in Oronogo, MO. In lieu of flowers the family ask contributions be made in memory of Jimmie to New Grace Assembly, P.O. Box 149, Oronogo, MO 64855.
