Jim's obituary

James Michael (Jimmy) Fellows passed away on February 14, 2024, from a tragic vehicle accident. He was born to James Herbert Fellows and Roberta Adair Fellows on December 17, 1956 in Sheridan, WY. He attended the Big Timber grade school and Sweetgrass High School in Big Timber, MT and Eastern Montana College. He met his wife JoLynn Osterdyk in 1975 while attending college. They were married June 12, 1976, in Billings, MT. He worked for Oscars Dreamland in Billings, MT then moved back to Big Timber, MT where he worked for Franklin and Marilyn Grosfield on their ranch below his beloved Crazy Mountains.

In 2002, he started SOS Pest Control and flourished at his trade until the day he passed. Jim was an avid hunter and fisherman. Jim loved sharing his love of hunting, fishing, and target shooting with his son James and grandsons Reagan and Jensen. He was also an artist who loved to paint mountain scenes and pen and ink drawings of wildlife. His and JoLynn's happy place was Depoe Bay, Oregon, where they would sit on the balcony and watch the whales and visit antique stores.

Jim loved rollercoasters, fishing for halibut and salmon in Alaska and going on two cruises to Alaska with JoLynn, sisters and brothers in law and daughter Holland and grandson Reagan. Jim cherished his annual elk hunts with his father Jim, son James, grandson Jensen along with many friends that joined him throughout the years. Being in the business that he was in, Jim met so many people that he formed friendships that he treasured. Everyone loved "Jimmy".
