Jim's obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Jim, on February 1, 2025. Born on December 18, 1950, Jim lived a life full of joy, hard work, and dedication to family and community.

Jim's bright and lively spirit was often likened to a 'cork in a river'. His fun-loving nature, bright smile and laughter brought joy to all who knew him. His immense working spirit saw him successfully build over a hundred homes, contributing significantly to the community. More than his professional achievements, he considered his family his greatest accomplishment.

He gifted those around him with the wisdom of not taking life too seriously, a lesson he humorously lived by. This, coupled with his hardworking nature, made Jim a beacon of strength and resilience for his loved ones and colleagues.

Jim leaves behind a legacy rich with love, humour, and a big heart. He was a caring husband, a dedicated father, an exceptional brother, and a cherished grandpa. His irreplaceable presence will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate to know him.

We remember Jim not just for his achievements but for the man he was. His memory will continue to live in our hearts, sparking joy, inspiring hard work, and reminding us to value family above all. His life stands proof that a well-lived life is not marked by the years lived but by the hearts touched and the lives enriched.
