Jil Meadows-Hawthorn passed away November 16th 2018. She passed surrounded with love.
Jil was born in 1959 and adopted right away. She lived in California and Utah.
Jil was married to Wally King and had two children. Coral (Henry) and Nick King. They were later divorced.
Jil married Tim Waite in 1985. They had one daughter named Tiffany.
Jil loved a lot of things, especially her dogs! She was passionate about saving any animal in need. She also loved water. Her favorite place was Tagart on the Weber River. She would spend as much time there as she could. She enjoyed white water rafting as well.
Jil had an insatiable love science fiction. Her favorite was Star Trek. She was an expert on all things Trek.
Jil was a Grandma to 3 girls and 2 boys. She had a rough time in life but she never stopped loving her family and friends.
Jil was able to donate her kidneys and eyes to help further research for organ donation. Her name is engraved on the glass wall by the Salt Lake City Library.
Jil was preceded in death by her father Jim Kent, mother Elaine Osborn, step mom Georgia Kent, brother Larry Kent, grandson Anton Koford, dearest friend Teddy Rosford and many beloved pets.
Jil was cremated and has had her ashes spread in all of her favorite places. She will be forever missed.
