Jesus's obituary

In loving memory of my father, Jesus "Jesse" Soto, who unexpectedly passed away on April 08, 2025. He was the devoted husband of Wanda Garcia, loving father of Jesus Antonio and Alyssa Soto, and dedicated step-father of Pablo Garcia, Angel Garcia, and Iris Velez. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

One of the funniest and loving souls on this planet, our father was a man who worked tirelessly to ensure that his family had everything they needed. He faced every challenge in life with strength and a smile on his face.

Early in life, my father learned the importance of hard work and he instilled that same work ethic in us. He worked tirelessly to provide but at the end of the day, always wanted to see everyone smile. He loved listening to music, dancing, and overfeeding our cat Bleu whenever he had the chance. He was hilarious, loving, caring, giving, accepting, and so much more.

The viewing service will be held at Thomas C. Montera Funeral Home on April 18th, 2025 from 2pm-8pm. As much as we would appreciate flowers, donations are more crucial to us at this moment.

Dad, you are now at peace but you will live on forever in our hearts. We love you so much. Rest well.

With a profound sadness that words can barely express, I, Wanda, announce the passing of my beloved husband, Jesus M. Soto Jr., on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at the age of 68.

For 42 years, Jesus was the center of my world – my devoted partner for 36 of those, and my cherished husband for the last 4. He was not only my rock and confidant but also a wonderful son, brother, uncle, nephew, father, grandfather, and a steadfast friend to many.

From the moment we met, Jesus embraced me and my three children with open arms, becoming the most incredible father figure they could have asked for. Together, we built a beautiful family, including our daughter Alyssa, his son Tony, and his stepchildren who he raised like his own. His love was unconditional, and his presence filled our lives with joy and laughter. Even through the challenges of his recent illness, my love and devotion to him remained unwavering.

Jesus was an amazing and loving man whose kindness and infectious sense of humor touched everyone he met. The void he leaves in my life and the lives of our family is immeasurable. I will forever treasure the 42 years of love and companionship we shared.

My chulo, mi pollito chicken, mi amor, mi cielo, y mi carino, thank you. Thank you for the 42 years of love, laughter, and companionship. Thank you for being the most wonderful husband I could have ever dreamed of. Thank you for the incredible family we built together. You will forever be in my heart, and your love will continue to guide me each and every day.
