It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jesslyn Bishop, who gained her wings on the day of her birth, May 16, 2023. A life that held the promise of light and love was tragically cut short, causing immense sorrow to her immediate family and the few lives she touched in her brief time with us.

Jesslyn leaves behind her loving parents, Hope Jones and Jess Bishop, who loved her unconditionally from the moment they knew of her existence and who are now grappling with the loss of their cherished child. Her fur sibling Buddy, also mourns the loss of a sister he barely had the chance to know.

In this difficult time, Jesslyn's family finds solace knowing that she is now reunited with her predeceased siblings, Lawrenzo Ja'Shawn Jackson, Kendric Da'Shawn, and Chase Boyd Gibson, who will surely guide her in this new journey into eternity. Jesslyn's grandmothers, Carrie Lee Henson, and Kelly Dawn McGuire, who preceded her in death, will undoubtedly shower her with grandmotherly love and care from the heavens.

Although they didn't have the opportunity to spoil her with earthly love, Jesslyn's surviving grandparents, David Crockett and Sherry Cooley, along with Uncle Chase Crockett and Aunt Mika Cooley, grieve the loss of an angel who was gone too soon. They will forever cherish the moment their family was blessed with the news of Jesslyn's arrival, a moment of joy and anticipation that was all too brief.

Jesslyn Bishop, a beautiful angel who mirrored her father's looks, may have been with us momentarily, but she has etched an indelible mark on her loved ones' hearts. As much as her family longs for another chance to hold her in their arms, they know Jesslyn is now in a place of peace and tranquility, a haven where she will be forever cradled in love and grace.
