Jessie's obituary

Mr. Jessie James Moore, age 25, of Hull, passed away on May 13, 2024, at his home.
Services are being planned in his hometown of Norfolk, Nebraska.
Jessie James was born on August 25, 1998, in Norfolk, Nebraska, the son of Lonnie Dean and Dulcie Dawn (Marshall) Moore. He was raised in Norfolk, where he attended school in Battle Creek. His family moved often, just letting life take them where they were happy and free. Jessie loved life and driving his Chevy truck to get away from his often harsh reality.
In April of 2018, while living in Fort Worth, Texas, he was diagnosed with stage five kidney failure. He fought hard every day to maintain a balance between life and health. His best friend, Beau, an ESA German Shepherd, was close by when he lost this fight.
Jessie lived with his parents, who helped care for him. The family relocated to Iowa in 2021 to be closer to Jessie’s older sister, Kelsey. The move also brought them closer to Jessie’s older brother, Dalton, and his many, many friends in Nebraska, whom he considered family and stayed close with.
He loved kids and wanted desperately to have his own family someday. He was a proud uncle who loved his nieces and was honored to meet and hold his nephew who was named after him.
Jessie is survived by his parents, Lonnie and Dulcie Moore, of Hull; three siblings, Kelsey Marie, and her husband, Zachary Jon Amen, of Sibley, and their four daughters, Zaylee Kay, Kallison Dawn Marie, Kiara Louise, and Zalaya Rose; Dalton Dean Moore, of Albion, Nebraska; and Tiffany Mae Moore, and her fiancé, Tristin Kash Lewis, both of Fort Worth, Texas, and their children, Taylor Leigh, and Walter James Kash; his maternal grandparents, Donald and Kathleen Marshall, of Fort Worth; and his paternal grandparents, Earleen Potmesil, of Newman Grove, Nebraska, and Dean Follette, of Kearny, Nebraska.

Services will be held on
