Jessie's obituary

Jessie's obituary

On Wednesday, January 11, 2023 Jeanine Maldonado, 83, of Madisonville, TN,  peacefully and surrounded by her family, stepped into the presence of our Lord. Her faith in Jesus, became sight.

Jeanine was born on December 4th, 1939 to George McNeely and Tula Marcum McNeely in Knoxville, TN. In August of 1966, she married Joseph Maldonado, and together they had two children, Joe Maldonado of Micco, Florida and Linda Thomas of Madisonville, TN. Jeanine dedicated her life to being a loving mother. She gave everything to her family and supported the many passions of their lives. She made it her mission to serve her family and the lives around her. Jeanine was also a passionate Tennessee football fan and loved Saturdays in the fall. In recent years her days were filled with watching old movies, reading her Bible, and spending time with her family.

Jeanine was predeceased by her parents George and Tula Marcum McNeely, as well as her sister, Josephine Smith, and three brothers, William, George, and Don McNeely. She is survived by her son, Joe Maldonado and his wife Summer, as well as her daughter, Linda Thomas and her husband, Stanley, and her sister, Jeanette Lawson and husband, Frank. She also had grandkids, Audrey and her husband Will Rich, Colin, Grace, and Dakota, plus her great-granddaughter, Sophia Rich and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to First Priority of South Florida, a ministry Jeanine supported generously over the years. Friends may pay their respects to the family at Biereley Hale Funeral Home on January 16th from 6-7 PM. Her Celebration of Life will follow at 7:00 pm.
