Jessica Zelaya, 40 years old, born on April 23, 1982, in Worcester, MA, passed away in Davenport Florida on March 19, 2023 after battling cancer. A caring woman with a funny and bright personality, Jessica's infectious laughter could brighten up any room. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Jessica graduated from Worcester Technical High School,  Worcester, MA, in 2000. She was a dedicated and hardworking dietary aide, always bringing her positive energy and kind heart to her work.

Jessica is survived by her loving family, including her mother, Nilda Zelaya; father, Manfredy Zelaya; sister, Beatriz Almodovar; brother, John Plouffe; son, Alex Carter Jr.; daughter, Jaelyn Stymiest; niece, Erika Alvarez; nephew, Arik Alvarez and their spouses and children, along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. 

Her family, friends and colleagues will remember Jessica as a loving mother and sister, a devoted daughter, a supportive sibling, and a reliable friend. Jessica's memory will live on in the hearts and minds of all those she touched with her warmth, kindness, and humor.
