Jessica (James)Slagle, born July 18, 1985, in Kettering, Ohio departed from our lives on November 5, 2024 at the age of 39. A beacon of light and joy, Jessica lived her life to the fullest, Blessed to have shared her journey, we remember her not just for her radiant smile but her profound kindness. Her inherent generosity made every life she touched brighter and more meaningful. You could always count on her to be there for you no matter what. She did face more bumps in the road than most people at her age, but she fought through it and always came out the other side. Loosing her husband (Dustin) 2 years ago, was the one hurdle she couldn’t get over no matter how hard she tried. They had been together since she was 14 and the void he left in her heart was just to much for her to bear.

She survived by her 3 sons Cameron Slagle (23), Kayden Slagle (15), and Grayson Slagle (7), Camron’s girlfriend Lexie, Her Cousins she considered Aunts Connie Lawson(Les), Barb Lawson (BoBo). Cousin Amanda Jones (Jason). Best Friend/“sister” Jenni Flynn, And by many other friends and family. She was proceeded in death by her mother, Brenda (Lawson) James, Father, Michael James, husband Dustin Slagle, cousin Mikey Krull, count less other family and friends. She attended school in Miamisburg, Ohio. She also worked many years as a nurses aid in multiple nursing homes and did home care. 

Her passing leaves a void in our hearts, but her spirit continues to inspire us. As we mourn her loss, we also celebrate the extraordinary life she led. She lived not for years, but for moments, filling those precious instants with love and laughter. Today, we say goodbye to Jessica Slagle, a woman of immense warmth and boundless spirit.
