Jessica Marie Martin, 62, of Glen Burnie, MD, passed away on December 25th, 2023, at her home in Etters, PA. Jessica was born on December 5th, 1961 to Janice Spriggs and Kenneth Lucas in Baltimore. On June 8th, 1996 she married her husband, Wayne Martin, and joined their family with her two sons, Joseph, and Scott Trail. Jessica and Wayne went on to have a son, Matthew Martin in 2000. Jessica loved her family deeply and she was sure to support her children any way she could. She was passionate about art and taking care of the animals she loved so dearly over the years. She had a love for horses and looked back fondly on her time working with them. She also enjoyed a good piece of chocolate and a Coca-Cola. Jessica’s favorite name was “Grandma.” She loved her grandchildren fiercely and enjoyed spending as much time with them as she could. Jessica was predeceased by her husband Wayne Martin, her mother Janice Drexler, her father Kenneth Lucas, her brother Jason Lucas, and her stepfather Bob Drexler. She is survived by her brother Kenneth Lucas (wife, Wendy Lucas), her sister Shawn Destlehorst, her three sons, Joseph Trail (wife, Heidi Trail), Scott Trail, and Matthew Martin, her granddaughter Rowan Trail and grandson Rory Trail. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to a local SPCA charity organization in her name. There will be a Celebration of Life on Thursday, January 18th, 2024 at 11:00am at Glen Haven Memorial Park Mausoleum in Glen Burnie, MD.
