Jessica's obituary

With deep sorrow, we mourn the loss of Jessica Jael Garcia, a beloved sister, daughter, and friend.  Jessica J was born on August 25, 1992 and tragically left us on November 19, 2023. She was known for her carefree, wild, and adventurous spirit, her sweet yet sassy nature, and her bubbly personality that never failed to bring laughter and light into any room. She was adored for her laughter and light-hearted presence, which will remain her enduring legacy.

She was born at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami. Jessica is survived by her loving father Oscar Garcia, her mother Jessica Aplicano, her stepmother Iliana Castro, her brothers Jonathan Garcia and Oscar Garcia Jr., her sisters Elaine Christ, Jovanna Abraham and Donelda Reyes, and her cherished grandmother Ela Melendez.

A proud graduate of Dr. Michael M. Krop Senior High School in North Miami Beach, Florida, Jessica went on to enroll at Florida Career College to pursue a degree in the medical field.

Jessica had an affinity for all types of music, ranging from rap, pop, Spanish, to alternative. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. One could always find her either listening to music or laughing and joking around. As for food, she loved sushi but her most favorite was Honduran food. Jessica was an animal lover and shared with us how to love unconditionally.

Jessica will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
