Jessica Joy Ellison, 49, of Manchester, entered eternal life on Nov. 23, 2024.

She was born on Oct. 29, 1975, in New London, daughter of Cheryl Traficonda and the late John Ellison. She attended local schools and graduated from Manchester High School. She enlisted in the U.S. Army and was a Bosnian War veteran, proudly serving our country from 1994 to 1996. She was a loyal employee at Connecticut Lighting Center for 21 years. She was a beloved daughter, mother, sister, aunt, niece, and friend to all. Everyone who knew her loved her and admired her love of animals.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her two children, Colby Ellison and Calib Pastula; four sisters, Jayde Ellison, Meloddi Ellison, Tiffany Volkert, and Alexandra Fritz; seven nieces and nephews, Troy, Brenden, Ethan, Emma, Max, Holden, and Addison; aunts and uncle, Philip, Missy, and Mary; and her long-time partner, Matt Oliveira.

To know her was to love her. She will be forever missed.
