Jessica Lynne Amabile, 46, of Cape Coral, Florida, passed away on August 23, 2025 in Naples surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 24, 1979, in Ellsworth, Maine to her mother, Carmen Small, and was raised in Portland.

Jess cherished her life with her husband, Felix Amabile, Jr., and their son, Felix “Little Felix” Amabile III, who was her greatest joy. Becoming a mother at the age of 40 was her most treasured role, and she gave her whole heart to her son until she could no longer.

From a young age, Jess loved to work and took great pride in whatever she did. After attending Oxford College at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, and the University of Southern Maine, she found her career calling as a mortgage professional, where she was known for her creative problem-solving, her ability to inspire others, and her determination to get the job done. Beyond work, she was a loving mother, wife, sister, cherished daughter and granddaughter, trusted friend, confidant, and beauty and fashion advisor.

Jess will be remembered for her love of basketball (especially the Boston Celtics, and her brother Ian’s teams), her quick wit and great sense of humor, and her ability to make those around her feel loved and supported. She was kind, funny, passionate, generous and deeply loving.

Jess is survived by her husband Felix, son Felix (known affectionately as “F3” or “Little Felix”), mother Carmen Small Novicki and stepfather Matt Novicki of Portland, Maine, brother Ian Bossie and his wife Natalia and their daughter Olivia, of Naples, Florida and grandparents Beverly and Albert Small of Topsham, Maine. She is also survived by several loving aunts, uncles, and cousins, along with many dear friends. Jess was predeceased by her great-grandparents Pauline and Chester Gray of Jonesport, Maine,  and Donald and Mabel Small of East Machias, Maine, as well as her grandmother Arleeta Salisbury Campbell.
