Jesse's obituary

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Jesse (Wayne) Bice, who left us on April 1, 2024. Born on October 12, 1949, oldest child to Jesse & Evelyn Bice. Jesse lived a fulfilling life filled with love, kindness, and laughter.

Jesse was predeceased by his father, Almon (Jesse) Bice, and leaves behind his loving mother, Evelyn Bice. He is also survived by his companion, Ilona Durham and his sisters, Janie (Allen) Blair and Janice Cohee. His family was his greatest treasure and his bond with them was unbreakable.

A man full of life, Jesse was known for his kind, funny, and caring personality. He had a unique ability to light up a room with his humor and touched everyone with his caring nature. Jesse was a man who believed in the power of giving and was always ready to lend a helping hand.

  • Honoring his patriotic spirit, Jesse served the US Army with courage and dedication. His service to his country was one of his greatest accomplishments, making his family immensely proud. His legacy of love for his mother, his family, and his country will never be forgotten.
  • A Memorial service to celebrate Jesse's life will be held on April 17, 2024, at 10:00 AM at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix. We invite all who knew and loved Jesse to join us in celebrating his wonderful life and bidding him a peaceful farewell.
  • Jesse will always be remembered for his warm heart and brilliant sense of humor. As we continue life's journey, we will carry his memory in our hearts, remembering his laughter, his kindness, and the love he had for us all. May Jesse rest in eternal peace.
