Jerry Kazimierz Wawrzyniak, 80, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 30, 2023.

Jerry was born on June 18th, 1942 in Poland. He was the second of three children of Wacław and Anna Wawrzyniak. Jerry spent his early life in Poland and immigrated to the United States in the 1960’s.

Jerry never stopped being active. He worked in the aerospace industry most of his adult life and at home never stopped being busy. He enjoyed using his mechanical skills to improve his surroundings and create a loving environment for his family. He was also an avid gardener and enjoyed spending time in nature. Jerry was a wonderful loving father and grandfather who always had time to play with his kids. He leaves behind his wife Mary, his sons Nicholas and Eric and his grandsons Dominik and Caribbean. He is predeceased by his son Michael and daughter Bernadette. He will be missed deeply.

To honor Jerry’s memory a viewing will be held at Carmon Funeral Home 301 Country Club Rd, Avon, CT on Monday Feb 6th 2023 from 8:30am-9:30am followed by mass at Saint Patrick’s Church 7 Burlington Ave, Collinsville CT at 10 am and burial at Calvary Cemetery.
