Jerry's obituary
Jerry Wallace Reynolds was called to his eternal home on March 3, 2026. Jerry was born on February 3, 1952, a day that brought immense joy and happiness to his parents, Laura and Arlie Reynolds, who preceded him in death.
Jerry was known for his quiet demeanor, immense love for his family, and his unfaltering work ethic. He spent the majority of his life working diligently as a brick mason, a profession he executed with unrivaled skill and dedication.
Despite his quiet nature, Jerry's love for life was abundant. His favorite recreational activities included fishing, playing horseshoes, and having cookouts at Issaqueena, activities that brought him much pleasure and peace.
Jerry leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish his memory. He is survived by his daughters Sherry Hardenbrook and Lanae Reynolds-Chastain (Clayton Chastain), and his son Chris Reynolds (Cindy Sheriff). He also leaves behind a legacy in his grandchildren: Ashley Hickey, Austin Hickey (Sierra Hickey), Autumn Hickey, Cory Hardenbrook, and Josh Hardenbrook. As well as several nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.
Jerry is also fondly remembered by his surviving siblings, his sisters Judy Gilstrap and Sandra Rogers, and his brother Roger Reynolds. He was preceded in death by his brothers Donald and Kenneth Reynolds, and his nephew Ken Reynolds.
Jerry Reynolds was a man of few words but his life spoke volumes. His quiet love, strong work ethic, and respect for family and tradition will forever be remembered by those he left behind. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
