Jerry's obituary
In loving memory of Jerry Turner, Sr., who passed away on March 23, 2022. He was the devoted husband of Cathy and the loving dad of Neil and Matt. He was known to others as Pop, Papa, Uncle or Mr. Jerry but he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He was a gentle, giving man, always there for his boys, spending hours with them teaching them about basketball or baseball. He had a crazy sense of humor and loved to make others laugh, whether it was with a cheesy joke or with his silly dance moves. He was a man of strong faith and he believed in the importance of spending time with family and doing what was right.
He faced challenges in life with admirable strength, such as performing the difficult task of grave registration in the military but his strength was also apparent the last few months, while dealing with painful health issues.
Jerry, you are now at peace but you will live on forever in our hearts. We love you so much!
