Jerry Todd's obituary
Jerry Todd Joseph Pribyl, 42, of Newalla, Oklahoma, passed away on October 02, 2022.
Jerry Todd was born on February 11, 1980 to Brenda Langston and Tommy Pribyl in Moore, Oklahoma.
Jerry was known to many as JT or Red but his favorite name was dad, as he was most proud of his children.
Jerry lived a good life. He always talked about the good and overcame the bad. He had the ability to make people laugh in any situation as he was a bubble of joy no matter what. Jerry would give the shirt off his back to someone in need. He had a passion for helping others and if he had it, he would give it or if he could do it, he would get the job done without question. He always told his kids to do at least one good deed a day. He was a very hardworking man, got his hands dirty, helped others often, and loved to laugh and joke. He truly lived for the better life and the greater good.
Above anything else, Jerry enjoyed fishing with his kids, working on his cars and truck, and riding his motorcycle.
He was predeceased by his father, Tommy Pribyl, his “dad” Rick Gourley, and older brother Tommy Pribyl Jr.
He is survived by his mother Brenda Gragg and “Pops” Lloyd Gragg, his children, Kelsey Anderson, Tessa Pribyl, Justus Pribyl, and Joshua Pribyl, one granddaughter Tesla Harris (daughter of Tessa), brothers Chad Fairchilds and Rickey Gourley, one sister Mandy Gourley, and numerous other family members and friends.
He left a hole in our hearts when he left us, but we know he is now at peace and no longer in pain. This is never goodbye, it’s always see you later. Until we meet again.
A celebration of life will be held at the family’s home on Saturday, October 15, 2022.
