It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Jerry Smedshammer, who left us peacefully on December 16, 2024. Born on June 11, 1942, Jerry lived a fulfilling life and was cherished by many for his warm, witty, and caring personality. His presence and aura will surely be missed by all who knew him.

Jerry is survived by his loving spouse, Linda Smedshammer. Their loving and enduring partnership was one of Jerry's greatest accomplishments, a testament to his belief that love and family are paramount. Jerry's teachings that "work comes before play" and values of kindness and compassion will continue to live on through those he left behind.

From a young age, Jerry was known for his endearing warmth and witty sense of humor, making him beloved by all in his community. His legacy of kindness and compassion has touched many lives and will continue to inspire and influence those who knew him.

A Celebration of Life service will be held in Jerry's honor on January 4, 2025, at 11:00am at the Loyal Order of Moose. All those who wish to pay their respects and remember Jerry are welcomed.
