Jerry's obituary

Jerry Anthony Rodriguez, 56, passed away on August 3, 2025, in West Covina, California. Jerry lived a life marked by creativity, dedication, and a joyful spirit that touched all who knew him.  Jerry you were a beloved Son, Brother, Father, Grandfather, & Friend.

Jerry was born on November 21, 1967 to Bobby Valenzuela and Arlene Valenzuela in El Monte, California. From a young age, Jerry brought energy and flair to every moment. He was the little boy who loved to dance and pop-lock on sheets of cardboard during park competitions—an early sign of the vibrant personality that would define his life. For all who knew Jerry, knew that growing up art was a big part of who Jerry was. That same passion carried into adulthood through his artistic pursuits and spontaneous love for travel.

After Jerry graduated from El Monte High School, he went on to work for Golden State Foods for 28 years. His commitment and reliability made him a valued member of the team and reflected the strong work ethic he carried throughout his life.

Outside of work, Jerry expressed himself through woodworking—a craft that allowed his creativity to flourish. Whether building something with his hands or setting off on an unplanned adventure, he embraced life with enthusiasm and originality.

Those who had the pleasure of knowing Jerry will remember his humor and kindness. His presence brought laughter and warmth into every room, leaving behind cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of many.
