Gerald's obituary
Born in Trenton, Jerry was employed with Acme Markets as a store supervisor for over 30 years. He was a longtime member of the Bordentown Elks. He enjoyed golfing, loved tackling home projects, watching his granddaughters play soccer, and hanging with the guys at Broad Street Auto. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan.
Predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Elizabeth (Rahilly) Rockhill; his siblings, Thomas Rockhill, Clinton Rockhill, Helen Clark, Irvin Rockhill, Robert Rockhill, Clement Rockhill, James Rockhill, and William Rockhill; he is survived by his devoted wife of 49 years, Elizabeth (Kerwick) Rockhill; his sons, Michael Rockhill and wife, Danielle and Gerald (Jerry) Rockhill; his grandchildren, Kerianne and loving boyfriend, Nick Muccie, Mackenzie, Mallory, Olivia, Morgan, and Jake; his siblings, Emma Faye Connelly, and Harrison and wife, Dianne; many nieces and nephews and friends. He was a man that touched many lives in positive ways; he was a mentor, a teacher and a role model for countless people. All who he encountered in his impactful existence will sorely miss him.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, August 9, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a funeral service beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ. Bordentown Elks service to take place during the visitation at 6:00 p.m.
Cremation will be private.
