Tony, I was saddened to hear of your father’s passing. Though I never met your dad, I felt like I got to know a bit about him through his obituary, and he sounds like an interesting man. His legacy shines in you.  I am grateful to him for you and for his service to our country. I hope his passing was peaceful. May you and your family find comfort and strength until you are reunited. You’re in my thoughts during this difficult time.

I am deeply saddened to hear about the loss of your father.
