Jerry ,71, passed away unexpectedly in his home in Bakersfield California, March 10th,2018. He was born September 9, 1947 in Bakersfield California. The son of Clarence J. and Maudie A. [ Hill] Oliver. Jerry graduated at East Bakersfield High school in 1965. Following graduation he served with United States Air Force as an Aircraft maintenance specialist and was honorably discharged in 1971. He was recognized as a USAF sharpshooter & for his operations of the 435th Tactical Fighter Squadron with the F-104 Star fighter in Vietnam. In 1971 Jerry went to work for the Railroad as a engineer/conductor. In 1975 he married Janet L. [Brewton] Oliver and had two sons & a step daughter They moved to Bullhead City Arizona in 1998 . In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother Michael Douglas Oliver. Surviving : Daughter Staci Quick Bullhead ,Son Ryan D. Oliver Kingman & his girlfriend Nicole Cangelosi. Son Travis L. Oliver Bullhead City & his wife Tanya J [Fried] Oliver; 8 grandchildren Dakota R Oliver, Chance D. Oliver, Taylor L. Mann, Evan D. Oliver, Landen D. Oliver, Caitlyn M. Oliver, Laci A Quick, Shae L. Quick & 1 great granddaughter Brooklyn L. Zeller
