Jerry (Mac) McDaniel, was born November 24th, 1964 in Hattieville, Arkansas to Odis and Rosie McDaniel.

Jerry was a 1982 graduate of Wonderview High School, in Hattieville, AR. In 1986, Mac met Lynn Patrice Bates, and they wed on January 15th, 1988. Their union brought together a blended family of three children, all of whom Mac loved dearly.

Mac worked for Molex Incorporated for 28 years until May 2020.

Mac was determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something that he talked about often. He was proud of his children and even prouder of his grandchildren and tried his best to support them.

Anyone who knew Mac knew that he was the most loving grandfather a family could ask for. His seven grandchildren from oldest to youngest are: Malaysiah (Stephen) Curtiss, Timothy Hicks Jr., Christopher Rector Jr., Kaya Hicks, Caleb Hicks, Je'marion McCree, and Carter Brooks McDaniel.

Mac passed away on Sunday, January 3rd, 2021. He is preceded in death by his father Odis McDaniel; Paternal Grandparents James and Mary McDaniel: and his Maternal Grandparents Arsby Byers and Rosie L Carter.

Mac leaves to mourn but cherish his loving memory, his wife Lynn McDaniel, Mother Rosie McDaniel; one son Sheldon McDaniel, daughter Sanovia McDaniel all of Conway, Arkansas, daughter Natasha (Tim) Hicks of Memphis, TN; seven brothers: Bryant (Lolita) McDaniel of Conway, AR, Leodis McDaniel of Morrilton, AR, Andri Byers, Carlos McDaniel, and John McDaniel of Kansas City, Kansas; Ron McDaniel of Kansas City, Missouri, and Rodney McDaniel of Overland Park, Kansas. Mac is also survived by his grandchildren and a host of Uncles, Aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
