Jerry Wayne Magby, 75, Formerly of Upland, passed away at 5:55 am on Thursday, January 12, 2023, at home surrounded by family.

He was married to Elizabeth Gail Magby, she preceded him in death November 12, 2022.

Those who knew Jerry knew he was always on the go. He never met a stranger. He would give you the shirt off his back and helped out many. He had a love for old cars and tinkering with old lawn mowers and engines. He loved swap meets and car shows especially Ducktail Run where he sat up in the same spot for 20+ years. Jerry’s biggest love was his granddaughters. After he retired he and Gail moved to Kentucky to be close to them. He was an amazing father but being a grandpa is where he truly shined.

He will be deeply missed by his family.

Survivors include his daughter, Amy Downing of Brandenburg, Ky. Granddaughters Mikenna Downing of Brandenburg, Ky. Pheonyx Downing of Brandenburg, Ky.
