Jerry's obituary
Jerry Norman Higdon II, 54, of Ontario, California, left this world on December 2nd, carried forward by the same unstoppable force of spirit with which he lived every one of his days.
Jerry moved through life like a spark—bright, restless, impossible to contain. Fitness was his discipline, his craft, his temple; he shaped bodies and spirits with the same determination he used to shape his own. His creativity flowed through poetry, photography, and technology, each a different lens through which he captured the world as he saw it—raw, vivid, and alive. On a bike, behind a camera, on a long walk or in conversation, Jerry was always in motion, always chasing something.
He was known for a humor that could crack open the heaviest moment, for an enthusiasm that refused to fade, and for an intensity that made him unforgettable. He loved fiercely—unapologetically—and felt deeply, always ready with a story, a lesson, or a challenge. He lived life his way, with a pace and passion entirely his own, leaving those around him both curious and inspired.
Jerry is survived by his daughter, Kera; his father Jerry Sr,, his sister Kitty, his nephew Jonathon, his brother Will, and his nieces and nephews Kegan, Lily and Alex. They will forever carry the echo of his laughter, the warmth of his loyalty, and the fire of his determination.
His life was a testament to motion, to courage, to the art of refusing to dim.
May his spirit continue its journey with the same wild energy that defined him here.
