Jerry Neal Hammer age 62 ( Jan 7, 1961) passed away unexpecedly at his home on April 21, 2023.

Jerry was an iron worker and a master welder and he took great pride in his work and trade. He was was a good father and loved his children very much. He had a big personality and never met a stranger. He never wanted to see anyone hungry and always had an extra seat at his table even if it meant he didn't eat. He was loved and will be missed by many.

He was proceeded in death by his Mother Lois Harrison Hammer. Father Thomas P. Hammer. Daughter Evalyn Anderson Hammer. Brothers Thomas (Butch) Hammer, Donald Thompson (close cousin), and Jimmy and Jeff Stinnett (foster brothers/cousins)

He is survived by his wife Lisa Jett Anderson Hammer. Brother Steve Sanders and George Ingle( close cosin). Sisters Sharon Hammer. and Sara Jo Hammer Banard. Sons Jerry Hammer II and Carson Hammer. Daughters Stevie Hammer Standard, Tababtha Hammer, Amanda Anderson, Ashley Anderson and Summer Anderson. 17 grandchildren, 1 great-grand. Mother in law Liz Jett and many loving nices, nephews and cousins.

Jerry was never one for funerals or sad good byes so instead if you knew him or his family please join us for a celebration of his life on Saturday April 29, 2023 at Westview Park in Knoxville, TN @ 1 pm.
