It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Jerry Chodera on October 30, 2025. Jerry was born in Medina, Ohio on May 19, 1947. Throughout his 78 years, Jerry has left an indelible impact on all who knew him. His spirit of compassion, support, and love continues to live through everyone who was lucky enough to share in his journey.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Marie Chodera. Together, they built a life filled with memorable moments and celebrated countless milestones. 

Jerry was an incredibly proud father to his son John and daughter Kristin. He was an ideal grandfather to his grandkids Luca (10), Leo (8), and Quin (5) as well as a best friend to his grand-dog, Oliver.  Jerry’s love and guiding presence have imparted invaluable wisdom and fortitude upon them. Their lives are a living testament to Jerry’s commitment to family and his enduring love. Their memories of their father/grandfather will be filled with his wise counsel, and his unwavering love and support.

Though Jerry is no longer with us in person, his influence will continue to inspire all who knew him. He has imparted a legacy of love, support and friendship that will forever be remembered. His memory lives on in the hearts of his loved ones, serving as the comforting light guiding them through life’s path.
