Jerry “Phred” Chapman Jr. passed away on Friday February 28th, 2025, at the age of 55. Born August 6th, 1969, Phred is finally reunited with his parents the late Jerry and Eleanor Chapman and sister Donna Reece.

Phred was a dedicated and skilled concrete mason who took great pride in his work and contributed to building many places in the Hampton Roads Area. Outside of work Phred enjoyed woodworking, cooking and watching Nascar.

Survived by his son Jerry Chapman III (Chelsea), Phred’s greatest accomplishment in life was being a devoted and loving grandpa to his three grandchildren Rhett, Kennedi and Addison. Also survived by his brother and two sisters.

Phred lived his life on his own terms right until the end and will be greatly missed by his friends and family.
