Jerrod's obituary
Jerrod McCall Edwards, 48, went to be with Jesus on Wednesday, September 4, 2024. Born on May 19, 1976, in Bedford, Texas, Jerrod was the cherished son of Pam Callas and the late Buddy Edwards.
Jerrod attended Fort Worth Christian School from kindergarten through graduation in the class of 1994. He continued his education at Oklahoma Christian University before pursuing his passion for chiropractic care at Parker College of Chiropractic, where he graduated in 2000. In 2004, he joined Crowne Chiropractic in Arlington, Texas, and two years later, he became the owner of the practice. In 2020, he merged his practice with Curis Functional Health and became a part owner within the corporation, continuing to thrive in his career. Jerrod was deeply passionate about chiropractic care and was dedicated to the well-being of his patients.
On April 22, 2000, Jerrod married his childhood sweetheart, Tracy Beauchamp. They met when they were just 4 years old and began to love each other at the age of 5, building a beautiful life together. Jerrod was a devoted husband and a loving father to his two sons, Bryson and Cason, who were the center of his world.
Jerrod was a faithful member and volunteer at Crossroads Christian Church in Grand Prairie, Texas, for many years. He served in various areas, including the main building and youth building, and he regularly volunteered for special events like "Night to Shine," sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation.
An adventurous spirit defined Jerrod's life. He traveled the world with family and friends, introducing them to snow skiing, water skiing, scuba diving, snorkeling, ziplining, and countless new foods and experiences. Jerrod also cherished taking vacations with loved ones, making lasting memories through his many travels. His motto was, "When was the last time you did something for the first time?" Jerrod loved sharing these adventures with the people he loved.
Jerrod is survived by his beloved wife, Tracy Edwards; his cherished sons, Bryson and Cason; his mother, Pam Callas, and her husband, Doug Callas; his in-laws, Clay and Dayla Beauchamp; his brother, Brock Edwards; his sister-in-law, Jennifer Roussin and her husband, Chris; as well as many aunts, cousins, and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Buddy Edwards, his sister-in-law, Amanda Beauchamp, and his four loving grandparents.
Jerrod had an extensive circle of friends who adored him just as much as he adored them. He made a lasting impact on everyone who knew him with his warmth, generosity, and zest for life.
