Before my career and "hobby?? farm" took  over my life, I was able to vacation with Jerri to many of her favorite Northern Michigan places. We both were fascinated by the way of life and hardships of early northern Michigan settlors. I was blessed with being able to go with her to the Keweenaw Peninsula, Quincy Old Reliable Mine, Fayette, The Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum at Whitefish Point, Bay Furnace Park and Sault Ste. Marie. We took the Soo Locks Boat Tour and the Pictured Rocks Cruise. I went with her to Mackinac Island and visited Fort Mackinac. Jerri rode horseback across the state on The Michigan Shore to Shore Trail at least 4 times and I crossed with her at least twice. It was a tough and wonderful adventure. Tammi gave me her horse "Lady" and Jerri taught me a lot about horses and riding them. Gandy and Lady were amazing trail horses!

Such a beautiful lady. She loved her crafts. She would also share about her farm animals. I loved being able to meet the  alpacas Jerri talked so much about. Jerri always had so much knowledge and love to share with everyone.  Jerri is missed deeply. Also as part of the Monday craft group she is deeply missed by all.
