Jerri Lynn's obituary
Jerri Lynn Gustafson Muller, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at the age of 74. Born on April 22, 1951, Jerri was a graduate of Monson High School and went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Saint Leo University. She played an integral role in helping to run the family business, contributing to its success over many years. Jerri is survived by her beloved husband of 54 years, Gus Muller.
Together, they raised a wonderful family that includes a son, Thomas Muller and his partner, Amy, of Salt Springs, FL; daughters, Donna (Muller) McCall, along with her husband, Waylon, of Hiram , GA and Marie (Muller) Vacula and her partner Adam, of Port St. Lucie, FL. Jerri took great joy in being a grandmother to her grandchildren, who brought immense happiness to her life, Joey McCall and Micheal Vacula.
She also shared strong bonds with her siblings. She is remembered fondly by her brothers, the late James (Jim) Gustafson Jr and his wife Emelde, Jack D. Gustafson and his wife, Sage, Jeff Gustafson and Sue, and Frank Gustafson and his wife, Pam. Her sisters, Jeanne Pietraalo and husband Coop, Jane Shorette and husband John, and Lisa Sullivan and husband Alan were also an important part of her life. She cherished her family including all her nieces and nephews. Jerri was predeceased by her father, James W. Gustafson, her mother, June (Chase) Gustafson Hermanson and her oldest brother James (Jim) Gustafson Jr.
Jerri cherished the time she spent with her family and friends, finding joy in both everyday moments and special occasions. Her love for reading and caring for the animals on the family farm reflected her gentle spirit and nurturing nature. For several years, she shared her faith by teaching CCD classes to children at the local Catholic Church. She also treasured family vacations, where lasting memories were made and stories were shared for years to come.
Jerri's legacy of warmth, devotion, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered
Her Celebration of Life will be held at Bethel Methodist Church, 1444 Bethel Church Rd, Hiram, GA 30141 on Friday, June 13, 2025 between 12 PM - 2 PM
