Fred's obituary

Fred was born at home in Fort Blackmore, Virginia to Roxie Shelton on May 18, 1941. The family moved to North Hollywood when he was a young adult. He served his country as a United States Marine. His first marriage was to Rebecca Dowdy. They had two beautiful daughters Rhonda and Lori. In 1971 they moved to Simi Valley Ca. In June of 1981 he married his second wife, Robin Madariaga and they had two wonderful children, Nicole and Christian. Shortly after that they moved to Lancaster Ca. During this time he made flexible multilayer circuit boards for Flex Link and Graphic Research.
He enjoyed scuba diving, fishing, camping, Shotokan Karate, and building things with his hands. He was an all around MacGyver who could do and fix anything. He was involved in the church, and dedicated years in helping others by taking food to those who needed it in the Neenach community. Fred loved living in Neenach where he had a full on Barnyard. He raised chickens, goats, dogs, cats, and a pot belly pig named Wilbur. They had a horse for a short time too.
He was a loving and dedicated Husband and Father. He is survived by his wife, Robin; children, Rhonda, Lori, Nicole, and Christian; brother Robert Shelton. As well as 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
