Jerome's obituary
Jerome (Roro) Simpson II , 23, of West Bloomfield, MI, passed away on July 4th, 2021. He was born from the marriage of Roseanesta and Jerome Simpson I July 8th, 1997. Roro was passionate about fashion, music, and making money through entrepreneurial endeavors. Roro was a Certified Nurse's Assistant who attended the LPN program at Latoya in Saginaw, MI. He was Captain of the Varsity Track and Field team, played Varsity football, and on JV tennis at West Bloomfield High School, which he also graduated from in 2015. Roro loved to sing and make music. He had a lovely singing voice. He was an amazing dancer and very fashion conscientious. Roro always had to be dressed his best, it was important to him. He was very responsible with money, saving to buy the things he likes. He was inquisitive and never took anything at face value, it had to be researched before he took it as fact. He loved reading and learning new things.
Roro was so good with money I remember when he was 8 years old, he had this blue lunch box that he saved all of his money in. There was this one day he opened it up and counted it. “Jessica,” he said, “ Come see how much money I got.” I went into his room and he opened that lunchbox and counted his money. There was nearly $1,000 in there. This continued for the rest of his life. He was always good at saving money.
He is survived by his mother, Roseanesta, father, Jerome Simpson I, his brother and sister, Jason , and Jessica, his maternal grandmother, Pierrette, his aunt, Chantale, and host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
