Jerome's obituary
Jerome grew up in Lutcher, LA , where he was a life long resident. Jerome was educated in the St. James Parish School. Shortly after he entered the work force, Jerome landed a job at Monsanto Lulling as a laborer. He dedicated many years to Monsanto where he was a very well respected and hardworking employee until he retired a few years ago. Throughout his life, Jerome was a master of many things such as a mobile mechanic, handyman, and a comedian for his loved ones. He’s always been a man of integrity who took care of his family by always putting their needs before his.
Jerome was a great man. He was blessed to receive the titles father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was known for being blunt, funny, sarcastic and loving. When Jerome arrived, you could expect a few things to happen one is leaving with a smile on your face, two is being unsure if you wanted to be mad at him for making jokes, and last but not least being reminded that you were ugly. Jerome definitely was great at cracking jokes and telling stories, so you’d better have thick skin; if you didn’t, you better get out of his way because you'll laugh or cry before leaving his presence. Trust and believe, he will let you know you that you are ugly, and he meant just that. If he truly cared for you, he was undoubtedly going to talk about you, that was his way of showing his love for you. Jerome had a very big personality, he was the kind of person that brought joy, happiness and laughter into the room without even trying. He had a variety of hobbies everyone was well aware of his love for fishing, working on cars, cooking up meals for his family, and attempting to teaching his children how to cook. Jerome never passed up an opportunity to have a good time with his loved ones. He cherished most the time spent with his family and close friends who were at the heart of his world.
Family was Jerome's anchor, and he leaves behind a legacy of love and cherish memories.
Jerome leaves his cherished memories to his loving daughters Lekisha Lathers, Patrice Frazier-Johnson (Stanley), Paris Frazier, Kenya Frazier, a devoted nephew who was like his son Kelsey Belvin and his sister Kim Frazier. He also leaves behind his beautiful grandchildren Layiah, Allen, Devontea Javonte, Kannon, great granddaughter Ma' Loni, and a host of nieces & nephews.
Jerome was welcomed into enteral life with opened arms by his mother Janice Mae Frazier, father Pink Frazier, siblings Regina Frazier, Karen Frazier- Franklin,Jack, and Gibbons Frazier Sr.
