Jermain's obituary

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jermain "Booman" Smith, a beloved brother, son, and friend. He answered to both "Booman" and Jermain, but had a preference for the latter. Born on July 26th, 1969, Jermain departed this world far too early on April 8th, 2024.

Jermain was a man who was known for his cool, down-to-earth personality. He possessed a natural warmth that was felt by all who knew him, and this warmth is a part of his legacy that will continue to live on in the hearts of many.

One of the most enduring life lessons he shared was the importance of education. Jermain was proud to have graduated high school and often encouraged younger ones to prioritize their schooling. This hallmark achievement was one he held close to his heart, serving as a testament to his commitment to personal development and self-improvement.

In his passing, Jermain leaves behind a loving family who will miss him dearly. He is survived by his mother, Rhoda Smith; his brother, Calvin Smith III; and his sister, Erica Smith. Jermain was predeceased by his father, Calvin Smith jr.

Jermain's life and contributions will not be forgotten. His lessons, accomplishments, and warm spirit have left a mark on those whose lives he touched. We will forever remember Jermain "Booman" Smith – a man of integrity, resilience, compassion, and love. His legacy of warmth will continue to inspire us, even as we mourn his absence.
