Jeri Lee Meadows, age 58, passed on June 20, 2023. She arrived into this world on October 18th, 1964, born to William Meadows II and Jimmie Lee Meadows in Columbus, Georgia.

Jeri was known for her exuberant personality and passion for animals. She was no stranger to fostering animals of all shapes and sizes, to include dogs, cats, pigs, cows, horses, and the occasional donkey.

Jeri had a love for everything and everyone. She touched the lives of many and never met a stranger. Her larger-than-life attitude was incredibly contagious. She always lived life to the fullest, never accepting “no” as an answer.

Jeri was preceded in death by her mother Jimmie Lee Meadows.

Jeri is survived by her children Katie (Rebekah) Jeppesen and Sean (Hannah) Jeppesen, her father William (Virginia) Meadows II, as well as her three brothers William III, Kevin, and Steve Meadows.

Jeri was larger than this world could hold, her legacy will forever live on. May she rest in peace and be reunited with her loving mother.

All who knew Jeri are encouraged to attend the public memorial service, scheduled for 2:30 pm on July 29, 2023 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 4400 Reese Rd, Columbus, GA.

Visitation will begin at 1:30pm, prior to the memorial. A private family graveside service will follow the memorial at Park Hill Cemetery.

The family has requested that remembrances be made in the form of contributions to local animal shelters.
