Lisbon Carnival in 1999/2000? I had been gushing to my mom for MONTHS about how wonderful this kid Jeremy Ervin was and it was VERY CLEAR I had a huge crush. Flash forward to the Spring Carnival at Lisbon Elementary School, my mom is working one of the booths and this sweet older boy comes up with this little boy Brody. The way my Mom tells the story, she watched this older kid be so gentle and caring with the other little boy, and it touched her heart. Later, when I went to point out who Jeremy was, we realized that the sweet boy she'd been referring to and the boy I couldn't stop gushing about were one in the same.
