SWINFORD, Jenny E. – 54

Jenny E. Swinford, 54, of Lafayette, passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at 3:33 a.m. at Franciscan East Hospital. Jenny was born on February 6, 1969 in New Jersey to the late Elmer and Mary Lou (Malchow) Poisel. She enjoyed partying, and spending time with her dog, Rowdy.

Surviving are six children, Andrew (Cara) Swinford of Logansport, Jesse (Carly) Swinford of Oxford, Joshua (companion: Crystal Wall) Swinford of Star City, Missy Dunham of Teft, Caitlin Swinford of Rossville, and Shanda Dunham of Teft. Also surviving are two siblings, Penny Kasten of Lafayette and David (Shari) Poisel of Valparaiso, and six grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Cary Ray Swinford, two brothers, Kenny Poisel and Rodrick Schreeve, and two sisters, Twilia Patterson and Linda Schreeve.
