Jennifer (and her husband Danny) have been our best friends for almost 40 years. We are going to terribly miss Jennifer and her friendship. Jennifer was a beautiful and very strong woman, a force, who knew what she wanted and was determined to do things her way. She was first and foremost a lover of Jesus Christ and He was the main emphasis in her life, followed closely by her family and church. She had an amazing grasp of the Bible and how our current times were foretold and being fulfilled. She was the person who led us to the Koinonia House ministry of Chuck Missler which has profoundly affected our own Christian growth. She especially loved teaching children, both as a profession and about Jesus Christ in Sunday Schools. We have so many precious memories of Jennifer of which we will name a few: Attending the Cliburn International Piano Competitions, having birthday celebrations (with hers being on St. Patrick’s Day), celebrating multiple New Year’s Eves and doing predictions for the upcoming year, eating her yummy teriyaki steaks from her Weber grill, having couples date nights especially in downtown Fort Worth, seeing her drive and work on her beloved Mustang (at least once with it falling on her arm – Ouch!!). She will not and cannot be forgotten. We know God will provide peace in her home-going to the family she left on Earth until she is joined with them in glory.

Dear Zachary Family,

It is with a sad heart I read of my dear HS Science teacher’s passing. Jennifer was so welcoming to us homeschool kids (my brother Michael & I walked to her house every Tuesday) making it fun and engaging to learn of God’s creation. We had great discussions, and I remember dissecting an earth worm, frog, and finding out our blood type. She had a great sense of humor and we loved her! I will always be grateful for the time spend under her, sharing in her joy of learning, making much of God’s handiwork. She will be greatly missed. May your hearts be comforted in the love of God, His people and His word.

My deepest sympathies for your loss. During this difficult time, remember the comforting promise found in God's word at Revelation 21:4: "He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." This hope of a future free from suffering can bring a measure of peace as you grieve.
